NGOs can save 2000$ every year on cloud services with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Grant

Cloud computing is a method for delivering information technology (IT) services (like a website, MIS, photo library, and many others) in which resources are retrieved from the Internet through web-based tools (browser) and applications. Today, this is the primary way in which online services are being accessed worldwide. Some popular cloud services are Amazon Web Service (AWS), Google Cloud Services, Digital Ocean, etc.

Even for a beginner who is unfamiliar with these technologies  AWS is very simple and an easy to learn platform to host a website. like - they have options to install a wordpress site and host it with just a few clicks and some basic settings!

To apply for AWS Credits - You have create a free AWS account ID with the organisation name identified in the Account Name.

Next: If you are a registered Non Profit in India with a valid FCRA - you have to just register your organization at BigTech and once your organization is approved - login to your bigtech account and click on “Search Product Donations” - Select AWS and by paying an admin fee of 12,500/year you can access 2000 USD (around 140,000 INR) worth of AWS credit/ year on these AWS products!  (Note: Payment of admin fees to bigtech nasscom foundation could be an offline process via bank transfer)
